Brief History of College:

Abhimnyu Samnta Singhar Degree College the second oldest college in Bari Block is situated at Balia the birth place of renowned Bidagdha Poet of Retie age of Odisha of Jajpur district. The college has been registered by the Odisha Society registration Act from 1976.

A.S. Degree College got re organisation and afflation for +3 Arts in 1992 and Science and Commerce classes from the academic session 2003-2004. The recognized strength of the student for +3 Arts, Science and Commerce streams are 128,64 and 48 respectively. Apart from that Hon’s classes started from session 2003-2004. As to the strength of the students which was 128 in 1997-98 has increased 256 in Arts and 256 in Science and 48 in Commerce for the session 2015-16.
